We will be having a meeting on Tuesday evening at 7 pm for anyone that may be interested in helping with the planning of the Veterans Day Dinner. Hope to see many at Post 6111.

We will be honoring the memory of our dear friend Ed Stillwell this Saturday, August 27th at 7pm(1900) here at Post 6111. Located at 1200 W Harris Rd. Anyone who would like to send or bring pictures in of Ed before Saturday are encouraged to do so as we will have them all on display. We will have our Chaplin on hand, we will have a prayer and a moment of silence. Everyone will have the opportunity to speak and share any memories of Ed that they would like. More to follow. Ed's official services will be held in Oklahoma and since that would be difficult for most to attend, and since Ed meant so much to so many here at Post 6111, we felt it would be fitting to hold our own memorial service for him here. Our Post was home to Ed and we considered him family. So please share this post and invite all who would like to come out and honor the memorial of Ed Stillwell. -CMDR

This will be a great event and is not a fundraiser, just a celebration of Veterans. Hope to see you there, even if for just a short while. Free food and music with a cash bar.
