Arlington Handknitters Guild The AHKG is a guild for knitters and fiber arts in the DFW area. We meet monthly Sept-May, with workshops, retreats, and more!

The purpose of our guild is to provide education and to promote interest and skill in knitting and other fiber arts. We meet once a month September-November and January-April. At each meeting, a local teacher provides a program of about 30 minutes on a knitting topic. We have banquets in December and May and informal knit-ins during the summer months. We host a national knitting teacher for a 2-day workshop each fall. In the spring, we also occasionally host a 1-day workshop. In January, we host a knitting retreat at a retreat center.

I hope you all had a great time at DFW Fiber Fest! There were great classes, teachers, and vendors. It was so nice fellowship with other fiber enthusiasts! Thanks to DFW Fiber Fest for another great event!
