Arlington Handknitters Guild

Arlington Handknitters Guild The AHKG is a guild for knitters in Arlington, TX, and the surrounding area. We meet once a month September-November and January-April with other events also.

The purpose of our guild is to provide education and to promote interest and skill in knitting. We meet once a month September-November and January-April. At each meeting, a local teacher provides a program of about 30 minutes on a knitting topic. ​We have banquets in December and May and informal knit-ins during the summer months. We host a national knitting teacher for a 2-day workshop each fall

. In the spring, we also occasionally host a 1-day workshop. ​In January, we host a knitting retreat at a retreat center.
