🧦💙 It’s never too early to start thinking about WDSD socks! 💙🧦

I know it’s only August (well… almost September 😜), but we’re already thinking ahead to WDSD 2027!

This year, we’re switching things up and creating our very own custom socks (more details coming soon). And with the possibility of adding the Argyle ISD Sixth Grade Center Argyle 6th Grade Center, we could be looking at close to 4,500 pairs of socks! 😳🧦

That’s a LOT of sock, a LOT of love and a LOT of impact💙

So, the big question…

Big News! 🎉 We received a grant that will help support our Burgers & Baskets event and also kick-start our Rock Your Socks campaign for World Down Syndrome Day 2027! 💙💛

I wasn’t sure if I had another year of socks in me, but here we are… leaning in! 🧦 And I already have a few ideas up my sleeve for next year, so stay tuned!

The bond between sisters is one to be cherished. Big sister is patient, kind, and a true best friend. Little sister looks up to her with admiration and dreams of being just like her.

They don’t see a diagnosis, they see each other. They see kindness, gentleness, laughter, love, and the unbreakable connection that makes them sisters. Their relationship is built on acceptance, understanding, and the simple joy of growing up together, proving that love always sees the person before anything else.

There are incredible organizations serving individuals with Down syndrome and their parents, but siblings have a unique journey too. Maybe Tatum’s Tulips is meant to help them navigate it?! To celebrate them, equip them, and remind them they’re an important part of this story too ❤️

That simple truth is why Tatum’s Tulips exists. It’s why I’m so passionate about my work with Jack’s Basket. And it’s why I’m asking for your support.

Every conversation, every shared story, every volunteer, every donation, and yes... every vote... helps lift another family.

When we choose to celebrate babies with Down syndrome, encourage new parents, and build communities where everyone belongs, we all rise together.

At Tatum’s Tulips, that’s what we strive for every single day. Because every child deserves to be welcomed with joy, every family deserves support, and every life deserves to be celebrated exactly as they are.

This Fourth of July, we’re grateful for the communities that continue to choose kindness, inclusion, and love. Together, we’re helping build a future where differences are embraced and every bloom has a place.
