What is Burgers & Baskets and why is Tatum’s Tulips hosting? 💙🍔🌷

Burgers & Baskets is a simple, meaningful way to gather friends and family around a meal while raising funds to celebrate and support babies born with Down syndrome. Hosts invite people over, grill burgers, share the mission, and help make a difference one gathering at a time.

So why is Tatum’s Tulips hosting?

Because our heart is with celebrating the beauty of Down syndrome and supporting families from the very beginning. Through our partnership with Jack’s Basket, funds raised help provide baskets of encouragement, resources, and love to families receiving a new Down syndrome diagnosis.

For us, this is about more than burgers. It’s about connection, community, changing perceptions, and making sure families know they are celebrated from day one.

You may start to see this account/page pivot a little more toward because this is truly where my heart lies right now and let’s be real, handling two non-profits is impossible.

💙 Celebrating babies with Down syndrome and supporting families from the very beginning means so much to me. But don’t worry… Tatum’s Tulips isn’t going anywhere just yet. We’re still here, continuing to spread love, awareness, and embracing the beauty of Down syndrome in partnership with Jack’s Basket ❤️

Tatum is so excited!!! We received our very first donation from a former colleague/ friend. 💛

Feeling incredibly grateful for the people already believing in this mission and in these babies. Our big goal is $5,000, and every single dollar helps us celebrate and support babies with Down syndrome and their families.

This is just the beginning, and my heart is so full already. 🌷

Okay… our first major campaign kicks off TODAY with Jack’s Basket

🎉 Burgers and Baskets is an opportunity to gather family and friends to celebrate all the babies with Down Syndrome! Grab a burger and help us raise funds to fill baskets for new families.

And honestly, what better reason to celebrate ALL the things?!

✨ Katie’s birthday (June 10!)
✨ Maisie’s birthday (also June 10!)
✨ Our new house (moved in December)
✨ A new role with (started in January)

So let’s make it count. 6/28 we would love for YOU come celebrate with us, take a dip in the pool, eat a burger, and show Jack’s Basket just how much we care.

This is more than a party, it’s a chance to turn celebration into impact. Who’s in?! 💛
