Happy Independence Day, Guinea!

On Pentecost Sunday, we had our first baptisms at Sacre Coeur! An incredible day. Each person baptized made their declaration of faith in their own language. To publicly and boldly proclaim their faith here, as a minority, is a powerful thing. Everyone that was baptized received their own Bible and we had lunch to celebrate together. The kids insisted on having a dance party after lunch - we happily complied!

Matthew 28:19: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
