Join us for a special celebration in tribute to Charlie Brugnola and the remarkable work he has accomplished with his canine companions. Charlie stands out as one of the first K9 military dog handlers, a K9 police officer, a professional dog trainer, and a founding member of PJ's Pals. It's worth noting that Charlie and Sally adopted Sweetheart, a badly burned puppy, and nurtured her into a successful therapy dog. They also brought therapy and joy to New York as part of the response and recovery efforts following the 9/11 attacks.

It is with a sad heart that we have to share that our “Pal”, Zip went to the Rainbow Bridge. He was such a great dog and we will always miss him. Zip excelled in Agility, loved lure coursing, chasing the broom, barking at the vacuum, and loved treats. Zip was a phenomenal therapy dog and especially loved reading with the kids at the school and library. Zip took his handler, Debbie on so many adventures. He would wear any costume and he was always smiling. His sister Singe will be following in his pawprints.
