CALLING FOR 2027 FINS UP POTENTIAL BENEFICIARIES !

It's that time of year when the Forgotten Coast Parrot Heads are looking for recipients for our 2027 Parrot Head Fins Up On The Forgotten Coast Donations! Each year we choose an organization to be the recipient of the donations collected during our Fins Up on the Forgotten Coast Jimmy Buffett Day Music Fest on Labor Day Weekend. Our charities are all local to Franklin County, because we want to keep the money close to home to have the greatest impact on our community.
This year we collected $21,471 that is being split between Bring Me Book Forgotten Bring Me A Book Forgotten Coast and Franklin County Franklin County Education Foundation, Inc. Tango Flight Program. In 2025, we collected $26,688 in donations that went to the Franklin County School Marching Band Program.. We always plan to give 100% of all donations received to the recipient organization. We are able to do this due to the great partnerships with our local venues who host these musicians for this event. We want to again thank them all for their support along with all of the donors, the artists, and the pholks who come out and enjoy our FREE music fest every year in Jimmy Buffett's honor!
