One of Keep Franklin County Beautiful's first projects was giving the beautiful Holy Family building a little ❤️. With a grant from Keep America Beautiful, we replaced the old wooden benches and landscaped the exterior.

This morning's glass bottle and aluminum can dropoff is postponed due to weather!!!

We can't crush in stormy weather.

We will be at the Apalachicola Yacht Club tomorrow (Sunday) fromn9-11.

Get ready to recycle! We're at the Apalachicola Yacht Club this Sat, 5/23, from 9-11.

Bring your glass bottles and jars,
and bring your aluminum cans.

We'll be making sand for local use,
And we'll be collecting cans for recycling back into cans!

Help us save landfill space, save energy, and not waste these infinitely recyclable materials.

There is no Planet B!

Keep America Beautiful has released their 2026 litter report!

It's a national look at litter. They report a decrease in litter since the 2020 report. But, there's less positive news about litter in coastal areas.

Stay tuned for more tidbits. In the meantime, pick up litter when you see it.

We're on the Board of County Commissioners' Weds (May 20th) Agenda!

Keep Franklin County Beautiful is proposing that Franklin County initiate an aluminum can and glass recycling program.

We're # 11 on the agenda. If you can't make in person, there is a zoom link on the attached agenda. Attending in person to show your support would be great!
