Less than a week until America Recycles Month! ♻️

Starting November 1, we're kicking off the Challenge with 30 days of simple ways to reduce waste, recycle right, and care for the places we share.

Ready to join in? Here's how:

1️⃣ Complete the daily activity on our America Recycles Month calendar.
2️⃣ Share what you're doing with a photo or video. Use and tag Keep America Beautiful.
📅 Check out the calendar below, pick your first challenge, and see how many days you can keep the streak going!

What a great morning for recycling! Lots of folks dropping off glass and aluminum AND the best volunteers to keep things moving.

32 five-gal pails of sand. That's about 1,600 lbs...400 shy of a ton. THAT'S A NEW RECORD!

A truck load full of aluminum cans, too.

See you again on Nov 14th.

These guys rock! They adopted this highway thru the FDOT adopt a road/highway program.

This was long before our time, and we think it needs to catch on in our county.

If you're interested in adopting a mile of roadway, a few blocks, a park, etc., please IM us. We can dobthe legwork with FDOT. You'll be committing to a litter pickup every 3 months (4×/year). Your group's name will be posted along the roadway. It's great for businesses!

Help us make our SGI Lighthouse Trick-or-Treat Spooktacular a frightfully fun night for our community on Friday, October 23, 2026, 6:30–8:30 PM, Lighthouse Park, SGI
We’re looking for volunteers to:
🕸️ Set up candy tables
👻 Decorate your table, dress up and help make Lighthouse Park spooky!
🍭 Hand out candy to our little ghosts, goblins, and trick-or-treaters!
