Well, that’s a wrap! Another successful “Stamp Out Hunger” Postal Food Drive is in the books! 🙌
You’ll have to wait until next week for the final totals… but trust me, this AMAZING community showed up in a BIG way.
If you didn’t get a chance to participate and would still like to contribute, please consider making a financial donation:

And now… the THANK‑YOU list! Because none of this happens without the people and partners who make this day possible:
☕ Apache Junction Starbucks – Thank you for supplying coffee to energize our letter carriers this morning!
🍥 Dirtwater Springs– Up before sunrise making and donating those incredible cinnamon rolls — homemade, delicious, and made with love!
🥪 Hacker's Grill – Four years of providing grab‑n‑go lunches for our letter carriers. Thank you for always supporting this event.
🍕 Domino's Pizza Gold Canyon – Making 30 large pizzas before lunch is no small task… donating HALF of them is extraordinary. Thank you for stepping up for us!
💧 Aaron McDermid - State Farm Insurance – Your generous financial support covered a pallet of water AND the other half of our pizza order. Thank you for always showing up for this community.
⛪ Missionaries from Arizona Mesa Mission - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Thank you for believing in our Food Bank Mission and helping ensure no one goes hungry.
🔥 Army of Torches – When you heard we were short on volunteers, you showed up with 40+ people and made sure we had full coverage. We could not have done this without you.

🎓 Desert Ridge High School National Honor Society – What an incredible group of hardworking students. We’re grateful for your help today.
📣 Apache Junction High School Cheerleaders – Your hard work, enthusiasm, and true Prospector Pride were felt by everyone today. Thank you for showing up, giving it your all, and lifting the energy.
🪙 Rotarians from the Superstition Mountain Rotary Club. Thank you for being shining examples of what “Service Above Self” truly means.
🧡 Superstition Community Food Bank Board of Directors – Lynn Hanson, Sharon Allison-Brown, Becky Frasier, and Dave McGrane — thank you for being here and working so hard.
🙌 All our Food Bank Volunteers – Time and time again, you impress me with your selflessness. Even changing travel plans to be here. I cannot thank you enough.
📬 Apache Junction Post Office Letter Carriers – Thank you for stepping up, putting in the extra work leading into the drive, and then doing your routes TWICE today.
🏆A special shout‑out to Debbie Robertson, Esmeralda Villalobos, Diana Travers, Tammy Reyes, Christy Williams, Davne Newman, Tammy Nanos, and Cyndie White for leading the charge this year. Your preparation and dedication do not go unnoticed.
🧡 Patricia Luff & Adam Luff – My Executive Assistant and her husband… the first ones here to help me, the last ones to leave. Thank you for keeping me sane, making me take breaks, and tying up loose ends.
And finally…
To our incredible Superstition community — City of Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, Peralta Trails, Queen Valley, Tortilla Flats, and every area served by the Apache Junction Post Office:
Thank you for making this our most successful food drive every single year. We couldn’t do what we do without your support all year long.
