💙 THANK YOU donors for making a difference in the lives of students! Your generosity helps provide enriching classroom activities, field trips, after-school programs, career resources, and so much more. Because of supporters like YOU, Anoka-Hennepin School District students have the opportunities and resources they need to reach their full potential.

🥷📊 When generous donors made Ninja Math possible at Sunrise Elementary School, students had a blast learning math in a whole new way! They tackled ninja-inspired obstacles, measured their accomplishments, and brought their data back to the classroom to create bar graphs and charts. One student said the experience brought her “eternal joy,” while another declared, “Math is slay!”

This is what learning looks like when it’s fun, engaging, and memorable. Thank you for helping make these incredible experiences possible for our students!

Andover High School students had the opportunity to mount, display and celebrate their artwork at Rum River Art Center. The students had to work with the gallery manager, brainstorming installation options for the exhibition. The project also made connections between the classroom and the professional art world. An AHEF grant (made possible by our generous donors!) supplied pre-cut frames for student work that can be reused to formally display student work. Applications are now open for the AHEF’s second round of grants for 2026-27 school year. Any teacher or Anoka-Hennepin Schools employee is able to submit a grant—details at https://www.ahef.us/what-we-do/grants-available.html
