Samaritan House

Samaritan House Since 1971, Samaritan House ("Sam House"), a certified residential care facility, has helped men on their journey to an addiction-free life.

The Samaritan House in Annapolis was founded in 1971 by recovering addicts who saw a need for residential care. It was first housed in a small building on West Street in Annapolis. After receiving state certification, the Samaritan House moved operations to 8 wooded acres in a secluded pocket of the city off Forest Drive. In this serene location, clients participate in individual and group counseling, relapse prevention and life-skills training under the guidance of professionally trained staff.
