Join us March 26–27, 2027 at the Brazoria County Fairgrounds in Angleton, TX, for a weekend of good food, family fun, and a whole lot of heart.

This event is about more than BBQ. It’s about our Heroes. 💛 Every team, vendor, volunteer, sponsor, bidder, and family who joins us helps Circle the Wagons support local families facing childhood cancer and ease some of the burdens that come with their fight.

Come spend the weekend with us and help us Circle the Wagons for our Heroes!

As Childhood Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to remind every family facing childhood cancer that they do not have to face it alone.

If you or someone you know has a child currently battling childhood cancer, we would love to hear from you.

Each year at Cookin’ It Up for a Cure, we have the honor of recognizing childhood cancer heroes and their families. If your child is fighting, has fought, or has been impacted by childhood cancer, please reach out and let us know. We would be honored to learn your story and consider your child as one of our 2027 Childhood Cancer Heroes. 💛

As Childhood Cancer Awareness Month winds down, we want to take a moment to honor the heroes who have been at the heart of Circle the Wagons for the past 14 years.

The ones still fighting.
The ones in remission.
The ones who have won their battle.
And the ones we’ve had to say goodbye to.

Each year, these incredible kids and their families remind us why we keep showing up, keep raising funds, and keep fighting alongside them. They are the reason behind every cook-off, every donation, every volunteer, and every hour we pour into this organization.

While we weren’t able to include every hero we’ve had the privilege of celebrating over the years, please know this: you are remembered, you are honored, and you are loved. Your stories are a part of ours, and your place in the Circle the Wagons family will always remain. 💛

As this month comes to a close, our mission doesn’t. We’ll keep showing up. We’ll keep fighting. We’ll keep cooking it up for a cure. 💪🏼🎗️💖

Before the big crowds, the packed fairgrounds, and everything CTW has become, there was a small idea and a whole lot of heart. 💛

Our very first year in 2012, just 5 cook teams showed up. The next year, that number grew to 21 teams, and today, we're regularly welcoming 80–90 teams to the cook-off.
In those early years, we didn't have a vendor market, a car show, mounted shooting, or all of the other pieces that make CTW what it is today. We simply had a handful of teams, a whole lot of volunteers, and a community that was willing to show up for our Heroes. 🎗️

And look at us now. 🥹

What started as a small event has grown into a weekend that brings together cooks, vendors, competitors, car lovers, families, volunteers, and an entire community, all with the same purpose: helping local families facing childhood cancer.

The event has grown. The memories have multiplied. The faces have changed. But why we do it never has. 💛

We’ve gained a few new followers since our last event, so we thought it might be time for a reintroduction. 📣

We’re a family-founded nonprofit organization, and every year we bring our community together for one big weekend dedicated to raising money for local families facing childhood cancer.
There’s the cook-off. The vendors. The auction. The activities. The people who come back year after year. And all the little moments in between. But underneath all of it is one simple purpose:

Show up for the families when they need their community most.

Whether you’ve been part of CTW since the beginning or you just found us, we’re glad you’re here. This is Circle the Wagons. Welcome to the family! 🎗️💖✨

Every year, families in our community face something no parent should ever have to face: a child battling cancer. CTW was created to help make that fight a little less heavy by raising money directly for local families facing childhood cancer.

For us, this isn’t just an event. It’s our family, our friends, our community, and our promise to keep showing up.

This September, we’re reminding you why we Circle the Wagons. 💛
