Last night after a delicious catered dinner from Ron's Barn - Coats, we enjoyed a presentation on Masons' Hall from guest speaker W.Brother Matthew Maggy who explained the historical significance of the oldest purpose built masonic building still in continuous use as a lodge in the US. With the cornerstone laid in 1785, this lodge building continues to serve as the meeting place for Richmond Randolph Lodge No. 19.

Thanks to everyone that came out and especially to the 3 members of Richmond Randolph Lodge No. 19 for making the trip from VA.

The Carolina Pig Jig is an event at the Got To Be NC Festival at the NC State Fairgrounds. The BBQ competition is a fundraiser for our Masonic Home for Children and the Central Children's Home.
Below is the link with all the information. Gates for the BBQ competition open at 11am and parking is free. Enter parking lot from Trinity Rd. Come out and support the many Masonic cook teams, including Angier Lodge #686, from NC and surrounding states.

Angier #686 at the Carolina Pig Jig at the Got to Be NC Festival. These Brothers are there for the night cooking and fellowshipping with other brothers from NC and other states.

Tomorrow the gates open to the public to taste and judge the various masonic teams. Come join us tomorrow around 11am.
