It was great to be at Premiere Orlando this weekend with and to participate in the NAHA Career Fair.

We left feeling energized and encouraged by the response from students — their curiosity, excitement, and genuine interest in sustainability and the future of beauty was inspiring.

The show floor had incredible energy, the Gala was a beautiful celebration of the industry, and the North American Hairstyling Awards with were excellent.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we’re bringing this message back because it still matters.

Sustainability in beauty is not only about packaging, waste, or ingredients. It is also about the environments we create, the values we work from, and the communities we build around each other.

Eco-conscious salons can support mental well-being in real ways:

Myrtle Beach, we’re coming your way. 🌿

Join on June 15 at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot for a free Green Salon Impact Tour stop featuring technical education with , Innersense Organic Beauty Educator.

This event will blend clean formulation education with sustainable beauty practices, showing how the products we choose, the techniques we use, and the systems we build inside the salon can all work together to create better results with less harm.

We’ll also have a Green Beauty Community sustainability class to connect the dots between clean beauty, salon waste, product choices, and practical steps beauty professionals can take right away.

And with as part of the tour, we’ll continue the conversation around waste recovery, circular salon systems, and how salons can keep more beauty waste out of landfills and waterways.

After the education portion, we’ll head out for a beach cleanup from 3–4 PM to put our values into action.

🌴 Highlights from Convergence in Palm Springs with Ted Gibson and Jason Backe.

It was sacred and glamor all in one weekend.

What stood out to us most was the bigger conversation happening in the room: beauty, wellness, science, and the future of how our industry takes care of people.

At The Green Beauty Community, we believe sustainability is the fourth dimension of that conversation.

Because we cannot talk about wellness without talking about the health of the professionals behind the chair. We cannot talk about cleaner living without talking about the products, ingredients, waste, water, air quality, and daily environments that shape this industry. And we cannot talk about healing without also talking about our responsibility to the planet we all depend on.

It is also special to see leaders like Ted and Jason, after long and legendary careers in beauty, use the influence and celebrity they have built to uplift the industry itself. That matters. When people who have reached that level choose to create spaces for education, wellness, healing, and forward-thinking conversations, it raises the standard for everyone.

This is why we support events like Convergence.

The beauty industry needs more spaces that center wellness, education, environmental responsibility, cleaner living, and the long-term health of our professionals. Not as trends. Not as side conversations. But as part of the future of beauty itself.
