What a night in Amador City! ✨ From the first song to the last dance, our streets came alive with music, laughter and community. We kicked off the summer season with incredible performances from Matt the DJ and Day Labor , plenty of dancing in the street and neighbors, friends and visitors coming together to celebrate what makes Amador City so special.

Events like these remind us that the heart of our town isn’t just the historic buildings or beautiful scenery, it’s the people who show up, support local and create memories together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, danced with us, shopped local and helped make this year’s Dancin’ in the Street a night to remember. 💃🕺❤️

✨ Big news for our little town! ✨ Did you know that the recent Longest Table event in Amador City was featured in The Longest Table Community’s national newsletter?

Our tiny but mighty community was highlighted as “The Longest Table in the Smallest City,” showcasing how meaningful connections can happen anywhere, especially in a town where neighbors still know neighbors. ❤️

As the smallest incorporated city in California, Amador City proved that community isn’t measured by population size, it’s measured by the people who show up, share a meal, tell a story and create something special together.

The newsletter celebrated the conversations, friendships and sense of belonging that filled Main Street during this unforgettable gathering.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, brought food and helped make this event such a beautiful reflection of who we are. Never heard of skanking? Don’t worry, we’ve got you. 😁Skanking is the iconic dance style that goes hand-in-hand with ska music. Think swinging arms, bouncing feet, big smiles and moving to those upbeat off-beat rhythms that make it impossible to stand still. No lessons required, just show up and let the music take over. 🎶✨
