Nescatunga Arts and Humanities Council, Inc. Nescatunga Arts Festival is held each year the first weekend of June in Alva, OK.

Thank you to all of our vendors who registered to be at our 55th Nescatunga Arts Festival this past weekend. We can’t have a festival without you!

And, thank you to the community for coming out to support our festival and the vendors, the food trucks, the entertainers and for bringing your donations for the Gourmet Food Booth Bake Sale.

Rain and wind threw a little kink into the fun kid events outside, and we appreciate Nam and Pops for trying and also bringing the train for Saturday, but a great time could still happen inside despite the weather. The weather is always a concern for a festival this time of year, so we thank you for your support.

Wow! What a great 2-day run for the 55th Nescatunga Arts Festival! We hope that all of our vendors and food trucks had great sales, that our entertainers had great experiences, and we just want to thank the community for coming out to support these hard-working artists, crafters and authors!

Shout out to our Best of Show winner, too — Kaisyn Girk with Kais’ Arc Art, from Buffalo, Oklahoma, where he’s a student. He won second in designer arts and jewelry and first in pottery/sculpture for his fantastic metal work. Thanks for coming Kaisyn. We can’t wait to see what you come up with for next year’s festival!

Now, everyone get some rest! I know members of the Nescatunga Council will be! Let us know if you would like to become a member of our council. 🎨
