Fall 2026 Big Day of Serving…small but hard working group!

Thank You So Much to the 15 people who donated 100 hours today to bless homeowners for 5 homes!

Strong Tower Ministries really brought their hearts and hands to serve skillfully! Several other church/base members, along with Top Branch Tree Service, made it all happen. We are also very grateful for the use of City of Altus Blain Street Rolloff Dumpsters to make branch disposal much faster!

Everyone collaborated to restore homes, hope and hearts in the community and share the love of God! Check out an overview of our work today:

716 N Navajoe - Replaced 3 doors, repaired toilet
409 Mercury - Cut down 3 trees & minor landscaping
505 N Hudson - Cut down 3 small trees & replaced outdoor faucet
817 Denise & 908 Phoebe - Prebuilt ramps for installation later

What a beautiful day when we can help our fellow neighbors desperately needing a hand!

We also appreciate financial donations from generous churches, individuals and Southwest Rural Electric’s ‘Operation Round Up’ grant to make all of this happen!

If you missed out, we have many more opportunities very soon to help others:

We are excited for the Altus Big Day of Serving tomorrow! Out meeting point at 8 AM is *1308 Alta Street (AAA Boat & RV Storage Lot Unit #17), about 1/2 mile south of Hutch’s on Tamarack, just off N Park Lane. * See our picture - Red Pin drop - because Google Maps has their address pin drop inaccurate.

Big Day of Serving - Next Sat/October 10th

We have several homes where folks are struggling and just need a jump start to their home situation. Check out our projects planned for next Saturday. We need at least 25 volunteers to make it happen!

To join us, register yourself or your group by selecting “Going” on the Facebook event: “Big Day of Serving” or call us at 580-970-8491.

Our meeting point is 1308 Alta Street, AAA Boat and RV storage lot 17 (just off of N. Park Lane) @ 8:00 AM. Bring your work gloves/PPE/tools - or it will be provided for you!!

Big Day of Serving - Call for Volunteers

We are looking for people who can help our community in need. We have ramp, tree work/landscaping and critical home repairs lined up for October 10th. No skills required, just a big heart to help those with desperate needs!

Register by phone at 580-970-8491, or meet us at 1308 Alta Street at the AAA Boat and RV storage - lot # 17 (just off of N. Park Lane) @ 8:00 AM on October 10th. Bring your work gloves/PPE/tools - or it will be provided.

In April, we had completed window framing & trim work, which was our third visit with 8 volunteers and around 40 hours of work. With this battery charge, the homeowner was powered up to get the rest of the work done through siding and paint. The results are flawless and the pride of home ownership is realized!

Volunteers needed for painting this Saturday/May 9th at 1408 Allyson Circle. We started on the last Big Day of Serving, and are looking for up to 8 volunteers to finish the painting. As usual, no skills required, just a willingness to serve! We meet at the home at 8 AM on Allyson. To join us, contact 580-970-8491.

Spring 2026 Big Day of Serving…A first of multiple posts coming for today’s event. Thank You So Much to the 27 people who donated 120 hours today to bless homeowners at 7 homes! We even re-homed some cute kittens…that was an unplanned blessing!

Among volunteers, Trinity Holiness Church brought 16 hard working and kind volunteers! Several other church/base members, along with 2 very skilled local businesses partnered with 100% donated service: Anthony’s Home Repair & Top Branch Tree Service.
