A shout-out to Johnson & Johnson for something worth celebrating.

Through J&J’s employee Matching Gifts Program, $10,000 just came to Third Ladder—because something mattered to one of their employees, and their company stood behind that generosity to help it reach further.

And look at where it goes.

This month, Third Ladder has $50,000 in grants to send around the world—supporting thousands of vulnerable children, women and elderly people; providing food, medication and access to education; and helping exploited and abused women and children access services that support safety and healing.

One person cared. A company stood behind them. And that care multiplied into something good for humanity today.

That’s pretty amazing.

Home from Home (HfH), one of the programs we support in South Africa, provides a family-based model of foster care to children who are orphaned, abused, neglected, and vulnerable through life’s circumstances. HfH provides community in small family homes with up to six children to create an environment where each one can feel seen, safe, and secure.

Just one hour after sending our email, we reached the finish line.  We are so grateful for the incredible response and for the generosity that made this possible.

Because of you, women and girls in India, Kenya, and Bolivia will have greater access to education, vocational skills, and pathways to opportunity and independence.

What a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people come together with generosity and a belief in the dignity and potential of others.

Thank you for helping us turn $10,000 into opportunity.  And thank you for helping us keep climbing.
