🇺🇸 Help Us Honor ASA’s Veterans

As Veterans Day approaches, we’re inviting coaches, parents, and team families to help us recognize the veterans who make a difference in our ASA community.

Throughout November, we’ll celebrate those who have served our country and continue to give back as ASA coaches, managers, board directors, and volunteers.

Know someone we should recognize? Here’s how to participate:

🔹 Share their story: Complete our form with their military branch, years of service, and any achievements or experiences they’d like to share.

🔹 Include a photo: A photo in uniform or with their ASA team is a wonderful way to accompany their tribute.

🗓️ Submissions are welcome throughout November! We’ll begin sharing tributes on Veterans Day, November 11, and continue throughout the month.

We’re keeping our 50th Anniversary celebration rolling with another look back at ASA in-line hockey!

🏀 Registration is still open for our 2026–27 Winter Basketball League! 🏀

It’s time to get your players ready for a season of basketball, teamwork, and fun! Our boys and girls recreational league offers individual and team registration for kindergarten through high school.

📅 SEASON DATES
• K–6th grade: December 5–February 28
• Middle and high school: January 9–February 28

⛹️ WHAT’S INCLUDED
• 8 regular season games
• Weekly one-hour, half-court weeknight practice for kindergarten through middle school
• End-of-season tournament for 2nd grade through high school
• Participation award for K–1st grade

New this winter: Most middle and high school games will be played on Sundays between noon and 6 p.m.! High school teams do not have practices. Uniforms are not included.

💲 INDIVIDUAL / TEAM FEES
• K–1st: $145 / $1,450
• 2nd–6th: $165 / $1,650
• Middle school: $170 / $1,700
• High school: $150 / $1,500

Register by November 4 for K–6th grade or December 2 for middle and high school.

Have a 4th–6th grade team looking for an advanced league? Team registration is also open, with a maximum of 8 teams per league. Register by November 4!

Our partner, D-BAT Allen, is hosting a Thanksgiving Camp for baseball and softball players ages 6–12! Enjoy indoor training with experienced coaches, work on hitting, pitching, fielding, and more—and have fun along the way.

📅 November 23–25
⏰ 9 AM–2 PM
💲 Choose your days: 1 day for $95, 2 days for $180, or all 3 days for $255

ASA’s 2026–27 league is open to pre-formed, co-ed teams in 1st through 12th grade. Players need their coach’s team code to register; individual registration without a team code is not available.

💲 $85 per player
🏐 Six regular season games: Jan. 9–Feb. 13
🏆 Double elimination tournament: Feb. 20 & 27
⏰ Registration closes Dec. 20

🏀👻 The Allen Eagles are hosting some Halloween hoops fun!

The Allen Eagles Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams will host Fan Jam presented by Raising Canes on Saturday, October 31, from 2–4 PM!

Enjoy team introductions, a dunk contest, a 3-point shootout and an on-court meet & greet.

All fans will receive a FREE ’26–27 schedule poster, with autographs available!

Plus, there will be candy and opportunities to win prizes for kids. 🍬

🚪 Doors open at 1:30 PM.

As we celebrate ASA’s 50th anniversary, we’re spotlighting the sports that helped shape our story! ❤️💙

🏒 Did you know inline hockey is typically played with four skaters and one goalie per team on the rink at a time? Passing, stickhandling, and teamwork make every player count!

Inline hockey got rolling at Allen Sports Association in 1994, giving local kids another way to play, make friends, and build their skills.

🏐 Winter volleyball registration opens TOMORROW, October 15!

Get your team and coach’s team code ready. ASA’s 2026–27 volleyball league is for pre-formed teams only—players must have a team code to register.

All divisions are co-ed, from 1st through 12th grade. The $85 player fee includes six regular season games, followed by a double elimination tournament.

📅 Season: Jan. 9–Feb. 13
🏆 Tournament: Feb. 20 & 27
⏰ Registration closes Dec. 20
