Silk paper making at Blue Sky was so much fun! We talked about silkworms and the different silk products we get from them and then foraged for seeds and plants to add to our paper. Add some glitter and sari silk and P**f! You got an aesthetically pleasing configuration . . . (Gold star if you can identify that movie quote!!).🐛🦋📜

I’m teaching this silk paper making workshop at Blue Sky Earth School in McCordsville Wednesday, Aug. 19, 11-2pm. Price is per family, so bring your child(ren) and make some paper with me!🐛🦋

Two cocoons hatched out! These moths have no mouth parts and cannot fly. The female will lay eggs until her life is over. If they mate, we’ll have another round!

Registration is up for our weekly fiber arts class in the Creative Studio at The Center!! Tuesday evenings 5-7pm , for the student that wants to really dig in!
