We are proud to celebrate our very own Sister Friend and Branch Manager of Arkansas Birthing Project, Sylvia Halliburton, on an incredible milestone!

Sylvia has officially become the first state-certified doula in Arkansas — a groundbreaking achievement that reflects her dedication, compassion, and commitment to improving maternal health outcomes across our communities.

Her work continues to uplift, educate, and support mothers and families throughout Arkansas, and we are honored to have her as part of our village. Sylvia’s accomplishment is not only personal, but a historic moment that inspires future birth workers and advocates across the state.

CONNECTION: Thank you for hosting us today! Lydia guided us through a hot barre session 🥵 and we are all smiles afterward!
This class highlighted our Initiative, bringing awareness to women's endocrine health. March is Endometriosis Awareness Month. Did you know:
🤔 Endo not only affects the reproductive system, but also the full body. It can spread to many major organs, not only affecting the uterus.
🤔 1 in 10 women of reproductive age are affected by endometriosis. Although emerging studies believe the number will become 1 in 7.
🤔 There are 4 stages of endo, 1 being minimum and 4 being severe.
🤔 Advocacy groups are encouraging more medical research about endometriosis and other diseases that affect women's reproductive and overall health. There are not nearly enough research dollars given to these areas, but 1 in 10 in crazy and should garner more attention.
