Dear Parents,

We wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow, Wednesday, 9/2, is expected to be very hot. Our center does not have air conditioning, and unfortunately, we are unable to open the windows for additional airflow.

We just wanted to give parents a heads-up in case your child tends to be affected by the heat. Please keep this in mind when deciding what is best for your child tomorrow.

Because every child deserves a safe, welcoming place to go after school and during the summer.

At the Center, we provide a place where kids can learn, grow, make friends, have fun, and simply feel that they belong. We love, encourage, and support the children in our community every day.

On an average day, we serve 35–45 students, and we desperately depend on donations to continue providing this valuable resource to local families.
