Exciting news for the NCEF, they were awarded a grant through ECGRA and will use the funds to help make siding repairs to the Valley School Museum in Albion.

Two FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) members, Brennan Saxton and Lauren Salisbury, recently shared a presentation with the foundation thanking us for the support that helped the group attend the National FBLA Conference in Orlando, Florida last summer.

Our group hosted a Purse Bingo at the beginning of November. We would like to thank everyone that supported our fundraiser which was a huge success. And, a special thank you goes out to the volunteers who work so hard behind the scenes to make this event happen.

Springfield Elementary 1st graders were able to experience the one room schoolhouse on November 14th. Many thanks to the teachers, past and present, who shared their knowledge about the building and lessons from long ago.

Northwestern Elementary fifth graders spent some time at the Valley School on Halloween. Their teachers incorporated the book, Legend of Sleep Hollow, into the visit.
