Hi Everyone! As you are decorating this year, if you have any extra lights you would like to get rid of please consider donating to the Scouts. We are looking for some to decorate our parade float for this years Parade of Lights in Addison.

If anyone seen the kids out walking around the village of Addison this morning, we were starting our annual food drive. The kids placed bags and piece of paper on the house for Scouting for Food.

The pack is looking for non-perishable Food items. The only thing the village residents have to do if they would like to donate is to leave the donations on their front porch. All donations will be given to our local pantries in Addison, Woodhull and Rathbone.

We will be walking back around next Saturday starting at 10am to pick up all donations.

This past Saturday we held our very first AOL/Webelo campout.

The AOLs were split up in their Patrols, and chose to cook sea food and chicken fajitas, the other chose to make pizzas. Then our Webelos make French toast Sunday morning.

All the kids learned how to start a fire, what is needed to start a fire and how we choose on where to have our fire.

We also practiced our First Aid, I promise the pictures of injuries are not real we used make up. The kids did absolutely amazing!

Yesterday we had our annual hike up at Spencer Crest Nature Center.

The Cub scouts hiked 2.5 miles, seen an old hornets nest, navigated the trails, found acorns that have sprouted, and enjoyed the nice weather!!!!

Yesterday the kids went to Camp Gorton for our annual Fall Cub-O-Ree!

They got to shoot BB guns, Sling Shots, went in a small hike, made a 3d pumpkin, fished for apples, learned how to build a fire, played GaGa ball, then got to actual fish!!!

This week we are gearing up for our longer hike, then our AOL/Webelo campout

Our annual January Lock-in. This past year the kids learned how to set up a tent, learned about rocks, worked on their knots, cooked dinner, and got to do some whittling. We ended the night with games and a movie😊
