Sadly we have to put out another PSA. We had garbage carelessly thrown in our clothing shed again. This is unacceptable and there are cameras on the building next door. We are going to have to get our own to keep an eye out for these things. I didn't think we would have to worry about something like this happening again, but apparently we do. We can't as a non profit organization incur fees because of issues like this, or potentially lose our ability to have a clothing shed.

Hygiene ISNT a dirty word, unless we’re talking about a good shower after playing in the mud with your crazy kids. Speaking of mud…showers? Hygiene is important, can be some of the most simple things that we do to maintain it. Brushing our teeth, taking a shower, clipping our nails, and more are all small simple steps we take. However there are THOUSANDS of things we do that are so much more important, and can really stand in the way of you and good health! So this is where I ask, what hygiene products YOU wish were easier to get? Affordability, access, comfort, safety, and discretion can be the biggest standpoints between you and your needs. We may be able to help, so let us know!

To say that today was a success is an understatement! The amount of volunteer hours that went into getting here today numbers in the hundreds with only about 12 people helping on and off all year.
We had to have easily a hundred or more people that were blessed with free clothing, shoes, blankets, etc.
There are very specifically 4 people i want to thank for helping today! Without Heather Doty and her young son Connor, my husband Chris Potts, my dad Kevin Shorthouse, and my daughter Anna Potts today would not have been possible. Working late into the night we got this completed just in the nick of time.
We left with only 1/4 of what we came with. Which is a miracle.
!!We are now working on collecting Prom dresses and Suits so that we can have a giveaway in February. If we have enough of a stockpile we will announce the date closer to January. SO if you have any dresses youd like to donate please message this page and we will make arrangements to collect them!!

THIS SATURDAY at the Annual Addison Fall Festival! Come see us! We will have 7 or more tables set up with clothes of all sizes for everyone! All gently used or new. Everything is FREE!
All we ask is if you can please donate either money (we will have our donation jug out) or bring items for the pantry. Items that are needed are as follows:
Paper Towels
Toilet Paper
Cleaning supplies
Hygiene Supplies
Cereal
Canned items
Hamburger helper type meal kits
Really anything is always helpful!
Not required, simply appreciated!
