Hello lovely community! We just wanted to let everyone know going forward please bring your own bags and boxes! Unfortunately we do not have the ability to continue supplying them when we have our own limited supply due to losing them quicker than we can get them. Please don’t forget them as we can no longer offer them! Thank you!

We will be open tonight, Monday June 1st, 4:30-6pm! Make sure to bring your bags, your smiles, and a happy 1st of the month attitude!!! If anyone has messaged in the last week or so with anything to donate, drop off, or would like to set up a new account to access the pantry, this is a good time to stop by! We hope to see everyone there!

We are so glad to help provide food for you and your families each day we are open. To make sure the process is smooth and fair for everyone, please remember to stay in the shopping/waiting area and let a volunteer guide you. Our team members often have personal items or pantry supplies stored in the side areas, so please do not take anything from tables unless a volunteer hands it to you or expressly tells you to help yourself.

Today we had a volunteers baby shower cake and cupcakes off to the side with paperwork on top to act as a visual cue to others that it was personal items. We were actively trying to hand people breads that were available to them.
Unfortunately, an individual who was waiting their turn to be helped tried to take the cake/cupcakes and ended up damaging the cake in the process. A volunteer had to explain those were for a celebration taking place and werent a part of the food being given out. The individual said "well it shouldnt be there then".

I need people to understand that when they are in the pantry there is a level of mutual respect that we do expect. We are volunteers dedicating our personal time to provide a much needed service for our community. This was a last minute decision to open our doors so we had volunteers who had other things they were doing at the time ie. Setting up for a baby shower, but dropped what they were doing to help for a short time.

Please understand that we do reserve the right to not allow someone to access if they are rude, disrespectful, aggressive, etc to our volunteers. That isnt something we ever want to have to do.

Thank you for helping us keep this a respectful and safe space for everyone!
