Coldstream Christian Camp

Coldstream Christian Camp Providing rest, retreat, and refreshment in Christ in an outdoor setting since 1980.

Situated less than an hour from Nashville and Clarksville, Tennessee, Coldstream is an ideal location to hold your next youth retreat, church-wide retreat, or other overnight gathering. Fully equipped and reasonably priced, it fits into the budgets of every organization. We offer three facilities available for rental by groups or individuals:

1. Our main campground features seating space for over

120, a full service commercial kitchen, an activity barn, bathhouse, rustic cabins that provide sleeping space for up to 80, and a fully-compliant ADA cabin that sleeps 14. Enjoy canoeing and other waterfront activities on the 13 acre, spring-fed lake stocked with fish. Woodland trails, a basketball court, open space for games and athletic activities, and outdoor pavilions are among some of the other facilities available for guest use.

2. Our spacious and elegant Potter's House features 5 bedrooms, 3 pull-out style sofas, 3.5 bathrooms, full kitchen and dining room, and a conference room. With its large living room and upstairs loft, there is plenty of room to gather for conversation or study. Total sleeping capacity is 14, and guests have access to the community area including the lake and walking trails.

3. Our Lakeside Cottage is a beautiful single-family dwelling featuring 1 bedroom, 1 loft, 2 pull-out style sofas, 1 bathroom, an eat-in kitchen, and a large deck overlooking Aunt Clara's Lake. Total sleeping capacity is 7, and and guests have access to the community area including the lake and walking trails. In addition to rental facilities, we also offer youth camping programs during June and July. Our generous scholarship program ensures every child has the opportunity to attend camp to learn more about the transformative Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Iā€™m a soon-to-be college graduate at Austin Peay State University and will be working as a BCM campus missionary at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I also enjoy reading comics, watching movies, playing video games, going on hikes and enjoy hanging out with friends. This summer I will be attending high school week as a camper and as a counselor the week of Day Camp II. Hey camp parents and guardians - weā€™re working to make the camp pick-up process even easier for you!

This year, we will begin utilizing the My Jumbula App for pick-ups at both day and overnight camps. Login to the app using your regular Jumbula information and receive a unique QR code or PIN number for your camper/, which you will then present to one of our staff at pick-up. This should expedite pick-up times (especially for our day camp families) and allow you to re-assign pickup duties to anyone you trust without having to notify us - just share the QR code or PIN with them!

If you would rather continue exclusively showing your ID during pickups, thatā€™s fine, too. However, the name of anyone picking up your child must be on the approved pick-up list.

This app will be helping us behind-the-scenes as well when it comes to accessing camper information, seeing updated notes from you on schedule changes, and more. Weā€™re excited to start using this new tool, and hope it makes the camp experience easier for you AND your family!

This is news we didnā€™t think we would get to share so soonā€¦ the Potterā€™s House renovation is almost completely funded! šŸ™Œ

We are completely overwhelmed by the amount of people who stepped forward to sponsor a room and the incredible folks they are honoring with their gifts. Their generosity means the Potterā€™s House will be able to provide churches, families, and other groups with an even more comfortable and refreshing experience for many more years to come!

The only rooms remaining to sponsor are the conference room (which will become a multi-use family area) and 25% of the purple master bedroom. This means we are ready to start the room refreshmentsā€¦ NOW!

The Big Camp Work Week is coming up, and weā€™re dedicating lots of time to moving furniture, painting, simple repair work, and decorating inside the Potterā€™s House before camp starts. I am 20 years old and I just finished up my sophomore year of college at APSU. I am currently studying Agricultural Science and I am hoping to use that towards farming or missions! This is my second year working at Coldstream, and I couldnā€™t be more excited. Iā€™m going into my freshman year at Bryan College and will be studying communications and journalism while also playing basketball. ā€œHi, my name is Emily, and this is my second year serving at Coldstream! Iā€™m from California and am so honored and excited to be back!

I work often with animals and am currently taking care of 20 cats with more to come! Some of my pastimes are reading, hiking, and working out! I will be attending school at MSJC in fall to work as a preschool teacher, and will be working other positions in the school district. I look forward to praising God with everyone and such an exciting summer to come!ā€
