A New Mexico judge has found Meta created a public nuisance in the state and ordered it to pay $567 million into a teen mental health fund and to implement youth-safety measures.

A ​U.S. appeals court on Monday allowed thousands of lawsuits to move forward against Meta Platforms , Alphabet's Google, ByteDance's TikTok and Snap Inc's Snapchat over claims ‌they designed their products to be addictive to young users.

We are truly grateful that KOSA has advanced out of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation today. Along with other survivor parents, we proudly represented Matthew and all young people affected by online harms. Additionally, we visited Senator Lindsey Graham's office, as well as his sister's, to pay our respects; he will be deeply missed.
