It was an exciting day for Aberdeen Main Street at the Mississippi Main Street Association Awards in Jackson!

Aberdeen brought home two outstanding awards that showcase the strength and spirit of our community.

🏆Outstanding Legacy Business -Small Community: LANN Hardware was honored for six generations of customer service and servant leadership. Beyond providing supplies and expertise Lann Hardware has been a gathering place, a trusted resource for tradesmen, a welcoming face for newcomers and a true pillar of our community.

🏆 Main Street Hero – James Bell was recognized for unwavering support of Aberdeen Main Street. For many years, James has been a trusted friend, stakeholder, problem solver, and volunteer – often stepping in to help before being asked. His dedication and willingness to serve have made a lasting impact on our organization and our community.

Special Congratulations goes to our Director, Ann Tackett, who was recognized alongside fellow Main Street leaders for more than a decade of service. Thank you, Ann, for your 13 years of dedication, leadership and passion for Aberdeen.

Congratulations to all of this year‘s award recipients! These honors reflect the people, businesses, and partnerships that continue to strengthen Aberdeen and our surrounding community, by creating a welcoming destination for residents and visitors alike.
