🌍✨ We are proud of our meaningful partnership with AEEFG (Association d'Education Environnementale pour les Futures Générations) and Yaluna through the “Ambassad’Acteurs - Urgence Plastique” initiative. Together, we had the same vision and goal of empowering young people to use creativity and digital storytelling to raise awareness about plastic pollution and environmental responsibility.
We are excited to launch a series of videos created by our participants during the program, and this is another video we are sharing 🎥✨
The plastic emergency training was organized over 3 sessions every weekend at SMU, bringing together 74 students from SMU and other universities. Throughout the workshops, participants learned the basics of impactful content creation, storytelling, video editing, and social media communication, before creating their own environmental awareness videos.
Using SMU spaces as well as the sites visited during their field visits, students transformed ideas into creative and engaging campaigns promoting a more sustainable and “zero plastic” lifestyle. 💡
Beyond content creation skills, participants also gained important scientific insights into plastic pollution and microplastics, helping them better understand the scale of the issue. One of the striking takeaways shared during the training was that the amount of microplastics a human may ingest over time can be comparable to the surface or weight of an ID card, it was an eye-opening way to visualize the invisible impact of plastic on our daily lives. 🧠🌍
More than 20 videos were produced during the training, each reflecting the passion, creativity, and commitment of the students to environmental advocacy. Through this series, we want to celebrate their work and give visibility to the important messages they are sharing with the community to make a real difference 💚
Support their engagement by liking, commenting, and sharing their videos! The most impactful creators will have the chance to win the title of "Ambassad’Acteur / Ambassadrice Urgence Plastique" along with exciting prizes 🏆
