From 8–16 August, SeeDjerba Festival is bringing art into the streets, walls, rooftops and public spaces of Djerba creating new ways for communities to connect with their places and with each other.

For the second year, the British Council continues its long-term partnership with SeeDjerba through Arts in Action programme. This year, our partnership grows through a new collaboration with the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival, opening new pathways for artists and arts practitioners across Tunisia and the UK to exchange, learn and collaborate.

At the heart of SeeDjerba are the artists, whose work transforms everyday spaces into places for connection, dialogue and discovery. Through murals, installations, performances and projections, they bring new perspectives to Djerba’s streets and create moments that invite communities to see their surroundings in new ways.
