Throwing back to last Sunday, 17 May 2026, where the sermon was in continuation of the series on ‘the measurement of a sound doctrine’. Rev Dr. N Nkambule deep dived on the Pillar of ‘Reason’ and posited that a sound doctrine will inevitably improve your reasoning, propel you to do great things, reflect on your social activities and warned that ‘Kugcwala moya longcwele angeke bese kukwenta wenta tintfo letisangene’. Reasoning on its own is evangelistic, thus Bazalwane are enjoined to command superior reasoning in order to lure non-believers into the Kingdom of Christ.
The Pastor further shed light that, the scripture was canonized in a harmonious manner; therefore, a spirit filled interpretation of the bible should not result in startling contradictions. In closing, Mfundisi Nkakbule alluded that, our faith principles may not make sense (to others), but they make a great impact and that after all God’s greatness immeasurably vast to be comprehended by man. We are not called upon to understand God, but to have a relationship with him.
Have yourselves a blessed Throw Back Thursday!!
