Last week, in its commitment to good governance, the National Executive Committee and staff convened for a two-day workshop led by a consultant to review, update, and adopt Liphimbo LaboMake policies. This will ensure that policies speak to and remain relevant to the context in which the coalition works. The workshop was supported by the European Union in Eswatini and COSPE Southern Africa under the frame of the Civil Society In Action Project.

Furthermore, the coalition is undertaking the critical work of developing a new strategic plan to guide our work for the next 5 years- an exciting feat as we grow and learn from the previous strategy.

As a women's movement, we are committed to a new strategic plan that reflects the real needs of women in every corner of Eswatini. Thus, we look forward to conducting regional consultations to guide the new strategic direction.

Rest when you need to, speak when it gets heavy, and remember healing is not a race. You are allowed to grow at your own pace, to choose yourself, and to protect your peace. Strong women also pause and that is strength too.

Liphimbo LaboMake members from the Lubombo Region have shown up in numbers today at Siteki where we are currently running the Pre-Regional elections meeting with individual members of the Women's Movement to strengthen governance structures within the Regional Executive Committees and advance women's rights efforts in the regions and the country at large.

Liphimbo LaboMake is in the process of strengthening her governance structures within regional members, where new regional committees will be Elected. Ongoing is a pre-regional meeting with Hhohho Region Mayiwane Inkhundla . This session is led by the Elections Officer and Liphimbo National Executive Committee.
