Today, QWN joins the world in commemorating IDAHOBIT 2026 under this year’s theme: “At the Heart of Democracy.”
As we celebrate this important day, we continue to stand against homophobia, biphobia, intersexim and transphobia in our communities and continue to call for democracy in our land. Everyone deserves to live a free life, without stigma or discrimination. IDAHOBIT is a reminder that LGBTQIA+ people deserve to be heard, respected and included in all spaces because true democracy means no one should be left behind.
Today is not only about visibility, but also about healing, solidarity and human rights. It is about creating communities where all people can live and be themselves with dignity and equal opportunities.
As we mark this day today, we encourage everyone to continue having conversations that will challenge stigma, hate and discrimination against LGBTQIA+ people.
Together, let us continue breaking barriers and celebrating diversity in solidarity.

As we conclude our Mother’s Day Visibility Week, we celebrate the powerful and heartfelt stories shared by LBQ mothers who courageously opened up about their journeys of motherhood. Their experiences were not only insightful but also a reminder that q***r women continue to raise their children with immense love, strength and dedication despite the stigma and exclusion they often face.

Through these stories, many found comfort, representation and courage to embrace motherhood in their own authentic ways. The voices of LBQ mothers continue to challenge harmful stereotypes and create visibility for families that are overlooked.
Today, on Mother’s Day, we honor every LBQ mother for their resilience, vulnerability and unconditional love. Your stories matter, your families matter and your presence continues to inspire hope and courage in others.

Happy Mother’s Day to all q***r mothers. 🌈

To be a mother is to participate in the ongoing act of creation. To do so as a woman of faith and a member of the LBQ community is to embody a specific, courageous kind of commitment. We witness today a mother who does not exist at the margins of her faith, but at its very heart, where love is tested by fire and emerges as pure gold. Her motherhood is not despite her identity, it is an extension of the same Spirit that calls us to be authentic, compassionate and brave. She spoke deeply about the love she has for her children and how, despite the risks, challenges and stigma often directed towards her faith and sexuality, she continues to raise her children with love, strength and compassion.
Her story is a reminder that q***r christian mothers exist and deserve to be loved and cherished and recognized as capable parents.
We affirm that the intersection of q***r identity, motherhood, and faith is a sacred space of profound strength. Therefore, we call on our communities to move beyond mere tolerance and radically cherish q***r Christian mothers as vital, God-given witnesses of resilient and transformative love.

Mama bear, intelligent and parenting with intention. Today we highlight the story of a Le***an mother who refused to shrink to acceptability despite being misunderstood or trusted as a " genuine" parent.

Masculine presenting moms often face double stigma not only from society but within our safe q***r spaces as well where we speak our projected expectations in hush tones. It is clear that there is a need for more conversations to be had in supporting our q***r parents.
