We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Overview course on the CPA Academy. This practical, evidence-based programme has been designed to support pharmacists in understanding, preventing, and managing cardiovascular disease across care settings. It strengthens core knowledge of CVD epidemiology, pathophysiology, and risk factors, while building confidence in risk assessment, lifestyle modification support, and patient education.

The course places pharmacists at the centre of prevention, early detection, monitoring, and long-term management, equipping them with the skills needed to contribute to improved cardiovascular outcomes through informed, patient-centred care.
