Child welfare Society – Sierra Leone is a community based, non-governmental, non-profit making charitable organization for street children, orphans, abandoned, abused, desperate and neglected children regardless of their religion, s*x, colour or tribe, through parental love, rehabilitation and offering formal education to nourish their potential capabilities and personal capacity building, Through

a myriad of activities such as non-formal education, psychosocial support and vocational training. The society was formed in the 2000 but was officially lunched on the 13th October, 2001, by the then Minister of Health and Sanitation. The work of the Society is directly in line with Government and development partner’s efforts in ending maternal deaths, reducing infant and child mortality, malnutrition hunger and violations against children.
