Serving Meals, Showing Care ❤️

A warm meal, a friendly chat and a little extra care for our seniors.

Together with Adviser Dr Adrian Ang, our grassroots leaders and volunteers distributed meals and N95 masks to seniors in Bedok Reservoir, taking time to connect and check on their well-being.

Thank you to our volunteers for their time and dedication. Every helping hand makes a difference in building a caring community. 🫶

Haze or shine, we care. ❤️

Yesterday, our volunteers joined Adviser Dr Adrian Ang around Bedok Reservoir to distribute masks and check in with residents, hawkers and delivery riders.

From those preparing our meals to those delivering them, a small gesture of care was our way of saying: your well-being matters too.

Along the way, friendly greetings and conversations with residents brought warmth to the morning. Thank you to our volunteers for giving their time and helping us stay connected with our community. 🤝

❤️ Caring for our seniors, staying connected.

Day 3 of our mask distribution outreach brought us to Sunlove Active Ageing Centre with our Adviser, Dr Adrian Ang, to help seniors stay prepared should the haze return.

The centre was buzzing with activity—from a live band performance to friendly games of Rummy-O. Amid the music and laughter, there was time to sit down, listen to our seniors’ stories and find out how they were doing. 🥰

Beyond distributing masks, these visits are an opportunity to connect. Caring for our seniors also means supporting them to stay active, build friendships and feel valued in our neighbourhood.

Thank you to the Sunlove team and our volunteers for your care and dedication. Together, we can make Bedok Reservoir–Punggol a community where our seniors can age well, with dignity, friendship and joy.

We continued Day 2 of distributing masks to our seniors in Bedok Reservoir–Punggol, taking the opportunity to check in and share Minister Grace Fu announcement on the latest mask collection exercise. From 23 October, eligibility has been expanded to include Singaporeans aged 60 and above. Do remind your loved ones to collect their masks and keep them ready! 😷❤️

Many residents were happily enjoying the lower PSI readings and clearer skies, a welcome breather for everyone! 😊 We reminded them to stay prepared, keep their masks handy and wear them when needed if the haze returns. It is always lovely to stop for a chat with our seniors, and these visits give us a chance to look out for one another.

Let’s enjoy the clearer days while continuing to care for those around us! 💪

“Today no eggs?” 😄

A familiar question brought smiles as our Adviser Dr Adrian Ang and volunteers visited BRP residents last evening, this time with masks in hand. ❤️

Along the way, they checked in on residents, exchanged stories and shared a few laughs—including with a senior who is 99 years young!

Thank you to our volunteers for their time and care, and to our residents for the warm conversations at every doorstep.
