The International Council of Onomastic Sciences (ICOS) is the international organization for all scholars who have a special interest in the study of names (place-names, personal names, and proper names of all other kinds). Kitti Hauber kollégánk ma Izlandon ad elő a "Nevek és kultúrális örökség" (Names and Cultural Heritage) című konferencián, amelyet a Nordic Cooperative Committee for Onomastic Research szervezett.

"Apanévi eredetű családnevek a magyar családnévanyagban. Egy 700 éves út története" című angol nyelvű előadása az apai vagy anyai felmenőre utaló, vagyis apanévi eredetű magyar családnevekről szól majd — arról, hogyan váltak az egykori személynevek családnevekké, és mit árulnak el ezek a magyar emberek gondolkodásáról, világlátásáról.
