✨Under the Spotlight✨

👑 Esi’s decade-long membership in Rotaract has been marked by impactful projects across West Africa and Europe, including cervical cancer screening for women in underserved communities, building library blocks in Ghana, and empowering women and young girls.

🏆Esi is the Charter President of the Rotaract Club of Malmö-Lund International in Sweden and also led the establishment of the first cause-based Rotaract Club in Sweden: Rotaract Club of Baltic Sea. As an Assistant Rotary Membership Coordinator for Zone 17, she supports districts with membership retention and recruitment, focusing on enhancing Rotaract experiences and expansion in Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Sweden.

Rotary in Sweden turned 100 years and Rotaractors joined in this great centenary celebration. 🎈🥳🥳

The celebration was marked by a Peace walk attended by Rotaractors in Sweden together with President, Francesco Arezzo, Rotary International Director, Suzan Stenberg, and Rotary leaders across Sweden. The Peace Walk was led by Professor Emeritus Peter Wallensteen, who provided an engaged and knowledgeable overview of important figures who played crucial roles in the fight for peace. It was exciting to hear the stories of former UN Secretary General, Dag Hammarskjöld, Martin Luther King Jnr, and Folke Bernadotte.

During the main conference we had the opportunity to network with other Rotaractors and Rotary Peace Fellows who are currently studying in Uppsala University.

✨Under the Spotlight✨

“🗣️I’m Abdoulaye Bah, a Guinean-born, whose journey is shaped by training in Positive Peace (Rotary IEP), certification in NLP from NLP Academy, and the founding of Pinacle-PNL Academy, where I empower youth and leaders to build resilience and self-awareness.🥰

My leadership journey began early, as I was often chosen by my peers to represent them, and was further shaped at ISAV-VGE/Faranah Institute, where I served as Chairman of AJEAP-Pita and executive member of CeCAE, strengthening governance across 45+ student organizations and impacting over 7,000 students. As Vice Sharman of AIDSE-Guinea, I led initiatives supporting vulnerable communities, including an FGM prevention project, and represented youth internationally at FIJEV 2014 in Niamey, later selected for leadership training with MINDS in Tunisia. ✈️

📚Currently, I am studying building engineering at Malmö University while contributing to humanitarian initiatives through Rotaract Club Malmö–Lund International.❤️

I am driven by the ambition to create sustainable projects that connect infrastructure, the built environment, human dignity, and meaningful long-term impact🔥”
