TLDR: Scan the QR code to join our new community information Signal channel!
We have received some feedback that we are a bit slow at posting our Facebook events. While we want to remind you all that we are a non-profit organization run by volunteers, and that we are doing our best to manage our social media accounts, the feedback is valid - as several of our board members are trying to stay off Facebook, we are indeed a little slow from time to time.
This is why we are trying something new! Allow us to introduce our new "Cats' Corner Announcements" Signal channel! It may look like a group chat, but only a select few of our board members have permission to send messages in there, so we promise it will not flood you with notifications. We are planning to post a tiny once-weekly newsletter containing all the latest information related to our activities, such as Wednesday Night Hop, as well as important last-minute changes (such as cancellations). This way you'll always know what's up without having to get on social media! Yay!
PS. We will of course not stop posting Facebook events, they might just continue to be a little slow sometimes. However, event or no event, rest assured that there will in 99 cases out of 100 be a Wednesday Night Hop on any given Wednesday during the Spring and Fall semesters. ❤
