πŸ’ Guilt is a common part of many people's grief.

You may find yourself replaying conversations, questioning decisions, or wondering if there was something you could have done differently.

These thoughts can be incredibly painful - but they are also a common response to loss.

In this short video, we explore why guilt can show up in grief and offer gentle reassurance if this is something you're experiencing.

"Do I have to let go to move forward?"

It's a question many bereaved people ask themselves.

But Continuing Bonds Theory offers a different perspective.

It suggests that adapting to life after loss isn't always about letting go of the person you love. Instead, many people find comfort in carrying that relationship forward in new ways - through memories, traditions, conversations, values, or simply feeling connected to the person who died.

For some, this way of understanding grief feels deeply reassuring. It reminds us that moving forward doesn't have to mean forgetting someone or loving them any less.

🀎 Continuing to love someone isn't the same as being "stuck." Your bond can evolve while still remaining an important part of your life.

Many of our volunteers started exactly where the people attending our Walk & Talks are today.

They came looking for support after losing someone they loved. Today, they're helping others take those same first steps through grief.

We couldn't be more grateful for the compassion, warmth and generosity they bring to every walk.

Because sometimes the people who understand grief best are those who have walked the path themselves.
