The 21st of March 2026 was indeed a day jam-packed with activities that are meant to empower, strengthen, and unite the brethren of Jeddah Locale. From Kawan Leaders and Assistant Kawan Leaders to Ministry Heads and Department Officers, even down to aspiring leaders, everyone has come to gather for this year’s Church Growth Summit & Leadership Discovery Service.
Just like every other church service, the program started off with the brethren uniting together in prayer—entrusting every part of the program to God and claiming, with faith, spiritual breakthroughs and empowerment. After which comes the breakfast fellowship where everyone bonded over morning coffee, bread, and meals.
The brethren once again reconvened for the opening ceremony of the program. During this time, hearts were free in singing praises to the Lord, followed by the recitation of the leaders’ oath, and the welcome message shared by their head pastor, Pastor Ranel Fernandez. The topic he shared was inspired by the message of our Regional Overseer Beloved Bishop Aldrin Palanca where he emphasized the characteristics of an Apostolic Devotee Partner: having discernment of God’s moving, being fully aligned in loyalty and unity, having the willingness to sacrifice for the vision, and serving God with one heart and one purpose.
Indeed, there is no better way to elevate our service to God than to be united with the vision of our living Apostle, Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, along with our Regional Overseer Bishop Aldrin Palanca and Middle-East District Coordinator Presbyter Elleza Palanca, and to all our spiritual leaders.
After being spiritually awakened by these truths and being strengthened physically over their lunch fellowship, on the 10-hour mark of the program, comes more discussions and lectures on leadership, personality enhancements, and right conducts in the church. And minutes before the 15-hour mark of the service, everyone was recognized for their commitment to expanding the horizons of their ministry and for the completion of the Church Growth Summit & Leadership Discover Program.
Indeed, spending the Eid holiday in the Church and with the brethren, does not mean we are shying away from the world, but it only means that we prioritize connecting with God, valuing what God has entrusted us, and aligning our visions with our leaders.
