Nocrich is the only scout centre in Romania and it was opened in 2010 in the old parochial house of the Evangelical church, a house built in 1796 which hadn’t been used for 20 years. The development process of the scout

centre started after a collaboration between the Transylvanian Saxon Foundation and the National Organization of Romanian Scouts, which partnered up in the planning and hosting of a series of camps. Getting the centre to where it is now, was a long and tedious process that gathered the effort of many scouts who came from Romania and all around the world, for volunteering. Together we created the Nocrich Family, and a place where scouts can develop activities and experiences scouting in a unique place, a traditional saxon village, full of history. Nocrich is a meeting and welcoming place for the scouts from Romania and all over the world, as well as for other people interested in the area, in finding out more about Romania and about the scout movement here. Here you can discover an interesting craft from the region of Transylvania, where you will learn by doing different kind of pots and jewelry.

Live a new adventure by discovering the historical villages from Transylvania and its traditions.

- The Nocrich Camp
Nocrich Scout Centre develops since two years now, the Nocrich International Camp, a camp organized and planned by the Nocrich Family. Our staff is in charge of the development of the all program, finances and administrative area. We offer an unique program based on rebirthing the traditions, culture and crafts from the region of Transylvania. Cycling

Te invităm la o nouă ediție Nocrich Work Party, ediția de vară! Continuăm dorelitul cu un weekend de muncă, jocuri și foc de tabără, pentru a ne pregăti de primele campuri ale verii.
Dacă ai peste 18 ani, te invităm la al doilea Work Party al anului 2026, în weekendul 19-21 iunie, la Nocrich Scout Centre.
La ce să te aștepți de la Nocrich Work Party?
Pe timpul zilei vom lucra, iar seara ne vom relaxa în jurul focului de tabără sau ne vom duela la un board game cinstit. Pentru că începem sezonul de campuri chiar la finalul lunii iunie, vom face curățenia generală a centrului și a grupului sanitar pentru camping, dar și reamenajarea pârâului din curte.
Taxa de participare: Timpul și prezența ta minunată. Ca mulțumire pentru ajutor, oferim:
cazare și mâncare;
transport asigurat Sibiu/Nocrich (dacă vii cu trenul sau autobuzul);
program cercetășesc de seară (grătar muncitoresc inclus);
acces la Petting Zoo de Nocrich (aka curțile Nocrich, cu căței, pisici și, dacă e nevoie să te convingem, poate găsim și niște purcei).
Transport: După confirmarea participării la Nocrich Work Party, veți fi adăugați într-un grup de WhatsApp pentru organizarea transportului spre Nocrich. Dacă ai nevoie de transport Sibiu/Nocrich, vom organiza curse din partea centrului!

Dacă ți-e dor de un weekend la Nocrich sau vrei să îți termini lupta cu păianjenii centrului, înscrie-te pe formularul din bio până la 15 iunie 2026! Și dacă mai ai întrebări, îmi poți scrie la [email protected] sau pe nr. de telefon 0730081057.
*Locurile sunt limitate la 20 de voluntari, iar înscrierile se închid după ocuparea lor.

Suntem în căutarea următorul Consiliu al Centrului Cercetășesc Nocrich adică patru cercetași entuziaști și dedicați care să preia ștafeta conducerii Centrului și să-l ducă în următoarea sa etapă de dezvoltare!

Vrei să contribui la schimbarea obiceiurilor de viață ale copiilor din comunități rurale?
Căutăm un cercetaș român care să devină coordonatorul unei echipe internaționale de voluntari, în cadrul taberei Healthy Body Camp 3, în 9-29 iulie 2026!
În multe comunități rurale, obiceiurile de zi cu zi se formează încă din copilărie, uneori fără acces la informații sau alternative sănătoase. Ne dorim să aducem schimbări pozitive prin joc, mișcare în aer liber, ateliere de gătit sănătos și discuții deschise despre ce înseamnă un stil de viață echilibrat. Activitățile noastre includ și teme de igienă personală, abordate cu grijă alături de copiii din comunitățile de romi.
Dacă nu poți participa în perioada 9-29 iulie, te poți alătura altor echipe de lucru din vară, care duc mai departe proiectul. Doar înscrie-te pe formular pentru a-ți arăta intenția de participare, și te contactăm noi în legătură cu alte perioade de lucru!
Detalii: cazare la cort la Centrul Cercetășesc Nocrich (cu acces la facilități), sprijin financiar de 10€/zi și transport decontat.

Cerințe: 18-30 ani, nivel bun de engleză, motivație, deschidere și interes pentru lucrul cu copii și tineri.

Bună! I’m Ingrid, and I’ve been a volunteer at Nocrich since October last year. As a volunteer I have had the possibility to hike and explore the rich nature of Romania. I can travel the country and always find something new to see. The sight of the mountains, the lakes, the fields and the trees will be in my memory forever. The conversations with my Nocrich colleagues are always the best during a challenging but amazing hike. And in every car ride home we already plan which adventure to do next.

From August 25th to 30th, Nocrich Scout Centre became the stage of an epic adventure: The Quest of the Demigods. 🏛️

Our brave Scouts faced the challenge of Olympus and proved themselves worthy through days filled with courage, learning, and joy. They trained in first aid, painted with creativity, and built friendships under the summer sky. 🖌️⛑️🏐

The hike brought them closer to nature and to each other — step by step, checkpoint by checkpoint, solving riddles and overcoming trials that tested both their strength and their spirit. ⛰️✨

Between laughter at the volleyball field, the quiet focus of workshops, and the thrill of the legendary hike, every moment was an adventure worth remembering. The Scouts showed not only their skills, but also their heart — proving to the gods of Olympus that they truly belong. ⚡🌿

Until the next Nocrich Summer Hike… who knows, maybe you’ll answer the call of Olympus too. 🌟
