Are you passionate about protecting wildlife, promoting biodiversity, and making a real impact on conservation? Then this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!

We are thrilled to announce an open call to form the VPB Student Committee! 🦁🦅

WESA is teaming up with Veterinarians for Biodiversity (VPB) to empower the next generation of veterinary professionals. We believe that veterinarians play a crucial role in safeguarding the planet’s unique ecosystems and its inhabitants.

🎓 WHO CAN JOIN?
Veterinary students of any nationality and anyone genuinely interested in wildlife, biodiversity, or conservation.

One of our upcoming back-to-school merch items will be a custom bookmark featuring YOUR animal photos! We are now looking for wildlife & exotic animal pictures to create a beautiful collective design.

How it works: 🐾
1️⃣ Send your photo: Send your animal photo during summer (we collect submissions until mid-September!!).
2️⃣ The design: We create one collective bookmark design with your pictures.
3️⃣ Get yours: The bookmark will be sold at the start of the academic year (to be picked up at the faculty only).

How to participate:

From physical restraint to teleanesthesia, we will dive into the challenges, techniques, and decision-making behind safely handling a wide variety of species 🩺

🗣️ Our speaker is DVM Anaïs Nowakowski, veterinarian practicioner at Branféré Zoo in France 🦓. She works daily with zoo and exotic species, combining clinical medicine, animal welfare, and species management in a zoological setting.
