Mais uma vez os 21emCena mostram que o caminho é por aqui.
🇵🇹 Our World Down Syndrome Day poster campaign continues — today with a beautiful and inspiring message from Portugal!
There is something truly magical about theatre. 🎭💙
When you step into a character, something opens up. You explore emotions you might not have words for. You develop empathy for lives different from your own. You build confidence — not just on stage, but in yourself. And alongside your fellow performers, you build something else too: camaraderie, friendship, and a sense of belonging to something bigger than yourself.
For people with Down syndrome, theatre offers all of this and more. It is a space where they can grow, express themselves freely, and participate fully — not as a special case or a token gesture, but as performers, as creatives, as equals.
Because that is exactly what they are.
Theatre does not just entertain. It transforms. And when it is truly inclusive, it transforms everyone in the room — on stage and in the audience alike.
This World Down Syndrome Day, we stand — and we celebrate every stage, every spotlight, and every performance that reminds us of the extraordinary things that happen when everyone is given a role to play. 🌍❤️🎭
