Na adaptação portuguesa de ‘Quarta-feira: o tempo das cerejas’ os alunos do Curso Profissional de Técnico de Artes do Espetáculo da Escola Secundária João de Barros exploram 5 cidades imaginadas: a cidade difícil de entender, a cidade dividida ao meio, a cidade torta, a cidade futurista e a cidade invadida pela natureza. Para cada uma delas foram utilizados recursos artísticos distintos como o desenho, a manipulação de objectos, a composição e interpretação musical, o teatro e a escrita de texto e a coreografia. Para a construção cenográfica destas cidades, contamos com o trabalho exímio do arquiteto José Borges.
Os alunos do curso de Multimédia da Escola Secundária Francisco Simões também participam no projeto na captação dos ensaios e na produção de um vídeo final que será apresentado antes da peça.

In the Portuguese adaptation of “Wednesday: the time of cherries”, the students of the João de Barros Secondary School's Professional Course in Performing Arts explore five imagined cities: the city that is difficult to understand, the city divided in half, the crooked city, the futuristic city and the city invaded by nature. For each of them, different artistic resources were used, such as drawing, manipulation of objects, musical composition and interpretation, theatre and text writing and choreography. For the scenographic construction of these cities, we relied on the excellent work of architect José Borges.
Students from the Multimedia course at Escola Secundária Francisco Simões are also taking part in the project, capturing rehearsals and producing a final video that will be shown before the play.
