The European Intercultural Club (CLUBE) is a non-profit organization existing since 1998 operates in the fields of youth, education and training. The club organizes activities with "sense", namely, which respect the values and principles that we consider "pillars" such as democracy, human rights, solidarity, equality, interculturalism, respect and appreciation for differences
. We have a general objective to develop personal, social, professional, civic and relationship skills in associates of the club and people in general. Our more specific objective is to promote the participation, empowerment and social inclusion of children, youth and adults in vulnerable situations by exploiting its potential, using that same potential as a resource for change in the community and society and strengthening the development of key competences necessary for personal fulfillment, active citizenship, social cohesion and employability in a knowledge society. We organize - and / or participate in partnership with other organizations - national and European training courses in the field of animation, childcare youth work, education and social intervention, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, participation, and others, seminars, exchanges, coffees pedagogical workshops. In 2014, we organized for the first time in Lisbon, in partnership with a French town hall, a field of bi national holiday camp for young teenagers. In the field of European mobility, we are an intermediary organization that only in the last year hosted nearly 200 youth and adults under the former Leonardo da Vinci program, ensuring their pedagogical, linguistic and cultural insertion, placing them in Portuguese organizations in accord of their area of training, ensuring monitoring and mentoring of stages as well as evaluations of these experiences of mobility. We have an online radio, that we use and promote like an educational and pedagogical tool for the development of various skills, including linguistic skills

We are, since November 2014, the organisation responsible for a social and educative project - projecto Sementes a Crescer - intervening with children and young people in socio-economic vulnerability situation. This project is based in Olaias, in Beato Parish, and respond, for more than 12 years at the needs of the local population through a space for community providing varied and individualized support in finding social solutions , educational, economic, employment and / or training. This project aims to work the social inclusion of children and young people between 6 and 24 years, through activities fostering the development and acquisition of personal, social and educational skills and to combat situations of school failure and absenteeism, risk behaviors, unemployment and juvenile delinquency. This project also aims to promote the psychosocial and emotional development of / the participants through educational and training activities, recreational, sporting, cultural, civic and health activities, cooperative actions, training, and social entrepreneurship.
