O tempo voa quando estamos a mudar o mundo (e a divertir-nos pelo caminho)!

No dia 28 de maio terminou a estadia deste belo grupo de voluntários em Beja, mas a marca que deixaram na capital do Baixo Alentejo perdurará. 🇵🇹🇪🇸❤️

Esta última semana de atividades foi simplesmente inesquecível!

🏫 Começámos da melhor maneira com atividades nas escolas, mais concretamente na Escola Básica de Santiago Maior. Foi lá que os nossos voluntários apresentaram e dinamizaram jogos pedagógicos sobre a União Europeia. Ver o sorriso e a energia contagiante dos mais novos foi mágico!

🧺 A partilha cultural continuou logo a seguir, com um piquenique intercultural fantástico no Parque da Cidade. Entre petiscos partilhados, música e danças tradicionais de cada país, celebrámos a riqueza desta união ibérica com toda a comunidade envolvida.

🫂 No passado dia 28 de maio, chegou o momento de regressarem a casa. A despedida foi profundamente emocional, mas acima de tudo feliz: terminámos com a sensação de dever cumprido e com a garantia de que criámos laços fortes para toda a vida.

Esta experiência de curta duração provou que o voluntariado jovem não tem fronteiras e que a energia certa transforma realidades. 🇪🇺💪

Reflecting, celebrating, and looking ahead! 🌍✨

The final day of the training course was dedicated to evaluation, reflection, and future impact. Participants took part in the final evaluation process, looking back on their learning journey, sharing feedback, and reflecting on the competences, experiences, and personal growth achieved throughout the week.

The group also explored the importance of dissemination and discussed how the knowledge, tools, and learning outcomes of the project can be shared within their local communities and organizations in the coming weeks and months.

After seven intensive and inspiring days of learning, cooperation, and intercultural exchange, participants concluded the project with a stronger understanding of facilitation, non-formal education, and their own potential as youth workers and active citizens.

Thank you to all participants, partners, and organizers who contributed to making this experience meaningful, enriching, and unforgettable! 🤝💙

Facilitators for a day! 🎤✨
The sixth day of the training course gave participants the opportunity to step into the role of facilitators and put their newly acquired skills into practice. Working in international teams, they implemented the workshops they had designed the previous day, taking responsibility for guiding activities, engaging participants, and managing learning processes.

Each workshop offered a unique learning experience, showcasing the creativity, teamwork, and facilitation competencies developed throughout the training course.

In the afternoon, participants focused on the practice of feedback, exchanging constructive observations and reflections about the workshops. This session allowed them to identify strengths, celebrate achievements, and explore areas for improvement while experiencing firsthand the value of feedback as a tool for learning and growth.

A dynamic and rewarding day that transformed participants from learners into facilitators, strengthening their confidence, leadership, and educational competences! 🌍🤝

Queres viver uma experiência internacional e contribuir para o desenvolvimento de projetos europeus? Junta-te à equipa da Check-IN através do Corpo Europeu de Solidariedade em Beja.

Durante 6 meses, o participante português irá apoiar a implementação de atividades locais e internacionais, desenvolvendo competências em gestão de projetos, trabalho com jovens e cooperação europeia.

O voluntário irá apoiar, durante 6 horas diárias e 5 dias por semana, na receção e o acompanhamento de participantes internacionais envolvidos em projetos europeus, especialmente no âmbito do Erasmus +, contribuindo para a sua integração e participação nas atividades. Terá também um papel ativo na organização de eventos, workshops e atividades de educação não-formal, bem como no desenvolvimento e dinamização de sessões dirigidas a jovens e adultos através de metodologias participativas. As suas tarefas incluirão ainda o apoio administrativo à gestão e implementação de projetos europeus, a pesquisa e criação de novas parcerias locais, nacionais e internacionais, e o apoio à comunicação e disseminação de oportunidades europeias junto da comunidade.

O que oferecemos?
O participante receberá 520€ de mesada, Transporte local se necessário, Seguro, Apoio linguístico, Mentoria e acompanhamento individual e um Certificado Youthpass
Esta experiência é ideal para jovens interessados em educação não-formal, cidadania ativa, projetos europeus, trabalho com jovens e cooperação internacional.

From reflection to creation! 🚀✨

The fifth day of the training course focused on one of the key elements of non-formal education: debriefing. Through interactive activities and practical exercises, participants explored the importance of reflection in the learning process and learned how facilitators can effectively guide debriefing sessions to help participants analyze experiences, identify learning outcomes, and connect activities with real-life situations.

After strengthening their facilitation competences, participants were divided into working groups and began designing their own workshops. Applying the tools and methodologies explored throughout the training course, each group worked collaboratively to create engaging educational activities that will be implemented during the following day.

A productive and inspiring day filled with learning, teamwork, creativity, and preparation for the next exciting challenge! 🌍🤝

Learning through feedback and cultural discovery! 🌍✨

The fourth day of the training course focused on important facilitation tools and meaningful intercultural experiences. During the morning sessions, participants explored the role of feedback in non-formal education and discovered how facilitators can use constructive feedback to support learning processes, group dynamics, and personal development.

Participants also engaged in a session dedicated to brainstorming questions, reflecting on how meaningful questions can encourage participation, critical thinking, creativity, and deeper group reflection within facilitation contexts.

In the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to discover Vila Nova de Milfontes and experience Portuguese culture more closely.

Another enriching day of learning, reflection, and cultural exchange! 🤝🇵🇹

Through interactive activities and shared experiences, they learned how stories can create emotional connections, encourage participation, and make learning processes more meaningful and engaging.

Empathy, curiosity, and sharing experiences! 🌍✨
The second day of the training course focused on exploring the importance of empathy and curiosity within facilitation and non-formal education. Through interactive activities and group dynamics, participants reflected on the value of active listening, understanding different perspectives, and creating meaningful human connections.

In the afternoon, participants took part in a World Café session dedicated to sharing good practices and discussing the main obstacles faced in facilitation processes. Through open dialogue and collaborative reflection, participants exchanged experiences, ideas, and strategies while learning from one another’s backgrounds and realities.

Another inspiring day of cooperation, reflection, and intercultural learning, strengthening both personal and professional competences in youth work! 🌍🤝
