Festival É UM ENCONTRO reúne culturas, sabores e comunidades na Amadora
A terceira edição do Festival É UM ENCONTRO, realizada nos dias 11, 12 e 13 de setembro, juntou pessoas, culturas e tradições na Amadora através da gastronomia, da música e de diversos eventos culturais.
A FIBI participou no festival com uma banca de gastronomia nepalesa, onde foram servidos os tradicionais momos de frango e legumes, chili de porco e tofu com arroz, acompanhados pelas sobremesas Lal Mohan e Lassi.
O Chef Jangbu Sherpa representou também o Nepal no espetáculo de cozinha ao vivo, apresentando o Thenduk, um prato tradicional dos Himalaias e proporcionando aos visitantes uma experiência da riqueza da gastronomia e cultura nepalesas.
O programa cultural contou ainda com uma vibrante atuação da Kirat Rai Society, que apresentou danças tradicionais acompanhadas por música folclórica, com os participantes vestidos com os seus coloridos trajes tradicionais. Tavisha Tamang e Kristina Magar encantaram igualmente o público com as suas belas apresentações de dança.
O festival foi uma verdadeira celebração da diversidade, da cultura e da comunidade, demonstrando como a gastronomia, a música e as tradições podem aproximar pessoas e culturas.

EN: É UM ENCONTRO Festival Brings Cultures, Flavours and Communities Together in Amadora
The third edition of the É UM ENCONTRO Festival held on 11, 12, 13 of September brought together people, cultures and traditions in Amadora through food, music and cultural performances.
FIBI took part in the festival with a Nepalese food stall, serving much-loved chicken and vegetable momos, pork and tofu chilli with rice, accompanied by traditional desserts Lal Mohan and Lassi.
Chef Jangbu Sherpa also represented Nepal in the cooking demonstration, presenting Thenduk, a traditional Himalayan dish and sharing a taste of Nepalese culinary heritage with festival visitors.
The cultural programme featured a vibrant performance by the Kirat Rai Society, showcasing traditional dance and folk music in colourful traditional attire. Tavisha Tamang and Kristina Magar also captivated the audience with their beautiful dance performances.
The festival was a celebration of diversity, culture and community — highlighting how food, music and traditions can bring people together.
