Meet Alex — originally from Europa, somewhere near Jupiter 🪐, and now temporarily residing among humans in Lisbon.

His greatest earthly passion? Crunchy bread 🥖

He loves it so much that he freezes it to preserve the perfect crunch — and once delivered an entire Table Topics speech about it.

Now he’s taking on the Engaging Humor Pathway, proving that apparently even frozen bread can become comedy 😄

Please welcome our favorite interplanetary bread connoisseur, Alex! 👽✨

🎤 Toastmasters isn’t just about becoming a better speaker. It’s about becoming a better leader.

Our member and Club Secretary Fabricio shares how his Toastmasters journey has supported him in upgrading his leadership — building greater confidence, strengthening his communication, and stepping into more responsibility.

Because leadership isn’t something we simply learn about. It’s something we develop through practice, experience, feedback, and the courage to keep stepping up.

At Toastmasters, every meeting is an opportunity to strengthen your voice and your leadership🚀

Meet the International Speakers Lisbon Officer Team for 2026/2027! 🎤✨

A new Toastmasters year means new goals, fresh energy, and plenty of opportunities to grow - both individually and as a club.

We’re excited to introduce the team stepping up to lead International Speakers Lisbon this year:

🎤 Kasia Szczesniak - President & VP Public Relations
📚 Anil Erkan - Vice President Education
🤝 Sara Magalhaes- Vice President Membership
💰 Gustavo Amaro - Treasurer
📝 Fabricio Monteiro - Secretary
🛎️ Alex Nikitin - Sergeant at Arms

Our focus for 2026/2027 is simple: make International Speakers Lisbon an even better community for our members to learn, grow, connect, and become stronger communicators and leaders.

That means creating high-quality meetings, helping our members make meaningful progress toward their personal and professional goals, welcoming new voices into the club, and most importantly - having lots of fun along the way!

Toastmasters is built by its members, and an officer team is only one part of what makes a great club. We’re looking forward to building this next chapter together with our entire community.

We’re looking forward to a year of stronger voices, greater impact, and continued growth for our club 🚀
