Sovereign Hands International is a project of SovereignHall Christian Centre. It was founded out of a desire to reach out and be agents of change and transformation to the needy people collectively: the poor, the stranger, the prisoner, the widow, and the orphan, who for complex reasons often find themselves in not-easily-explained circumstances. At Sovereign Hands International we believe we are most like Christ when we give ourselves away to those who are under resourced or marginalized by society. Scripture clearly expresses the heart of God to turn to the poor, the sick, the stranger, the prisoner, the widow, and the orphan: “I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home. I needed clothes, and you gave me something to wear. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me.” (Matthew 25:35-36, God’s Word version). As Christ followers, each day that passes by leaves us with a deep and sincere hunger for a life rescue and life-mending mission to this group of individuals. We believe that nothing can be as rewarding as becoming a vehicle through which God can reach out and help change lives. That is why through Sovereign Hands International, we seek to effect change that relieves suffering, overcomes oppression, and fights injustice – all characterized by the love that transforms and shows we care about what God cares about.
