I had a blast talking with Jamie Lee Curtis for my Moments That Make Us series. I’ve been a fan of hers for years, but this was my first time meeting her in person—and she’s just as fun and lovely as she seems.

One thing she said during our conversation that I can’t stop thinking about is how life hinges on a couple of seconds you never see coming—and it’s the choices you make in those moments that change everything. I loved hearing about a few of her “hinge” moments, and I think you will, too.

What better way to celebrate International Pilots Days than training a new batch of cadets? In the photo Commander Carlos Mirpuri posing with four trainees and Captain Ruben Morais, after the base training in Beja. Each trainee had to complete 6 landing and one go-around in the Airbus A330.

Tomorrow Commander Mirpuri will have another group of cadets to train in Beja. The flight will take place during the morning and the aircraft used will be A330-200 9H-TQP.

Happy ! 💃 Dance is more than just movement - it’s a celebration of diversity, expression, and human connection. As we mark this day, let’s embrace the joy of dance and its ability to communicate emotions and stories without words.
